Planned roadworks in Upper Hutt over the holiday season

Well-maintained roads are an important part of keeping people safe.  We work closely with the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) to ensure the roads that connect to our city are the best they can be, and that sometimes requires works, which we know can be inconvenient.

Over the holiday period NZTA have several major works planned for State Highway 2 which will affect Upper Hutt drivers and travellers to our region in the evenings between Wednesday 11 January and Friday 13 January 2017.

Please drive carefully through work sites and stick to the temporary speed limits.
