We ask that visitors travelling in motor homes dispose of their wastewater responsibly by visiting a dump station. Dump Stations are small facilities that are connected to the reticulated sewerage system, and help to protect the environment by ensuring waste from motor homes is disposed of correctly.

The dump station in Upper Hutt (see google map below) is situated on the Eastern Hutt Road. You will need to drive through the underpass and it is on the right heading towards Stokes Valley.

Dump stations at holiday parks

Dump stations at holiday parks are usually for guests only and there may be a charge at some holiday parks for use by non-guests. A link to Harcourt Holiday Park in Upper Hutt is provided in the Resources & Links section.

The Department of Conservation website provides a map with links to all New Zealand dump stations on their website – http://www.camping.co.nz
