Lifeguard of the year is right here at H2O Xtream

H2O Xtream is proud to boast having the new 2014 Lifeguard of the Year.

UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 05 SEP 2014—Upper Hutt’s Council-run aquatic centre, H2O Xtream had its long-standing employee Kristin Raynes awarded the 2014 National Lifeguard of the Year last night at the NZ Recreation Association aquatics awards.

Recreation Services Manager, Rachel Jury says “Kristin has been with our facility for 13 years as of February 2014, and still has a passion and drive to see H2O Xtream become the best facility in New Zealand.

Kristin’s commitment to the facility, the aquatic industry, and to continuous learning, makes her stand out amongst all other lifeguards.

She is constantly looking for ways to increase her own knowledge, to save money for the facility, lessen our environmental impact or to add a little flavour to a staff member’s day.

Kristin trains our new lifeguards, making their learning an enjoyable experience, yet ensuring they are trained to an extremely high standard.

Kristin is an absolute asset to H2O Xtream. The entire team and facility itself would not be the same without her.”

Congratulation to Kristin, it is a well-deserved award, as many of our customers would agree.
