The Annual Plan 2016 – 2017 was adopted at the Extraordinary Council Meeting 29 June 2016 and became operative from 1 July 2016. Included within the Annual Plan 2016 – 2017 are the two new projects Council consulted on between 23 March and 28 April 2016.

Recycling drop-off point: Council will be installing a rates-funded recycling drop-off point, providing households with an alternative means to recycle. This will help conserve our landfill space, preserve our natural resources, and control rising waste disposal costs – we believe this is a great outcome for our entire community. Please note the drop-off point is intended to supplement and not replace the existing kerbside recycling collection.

Multi-use pathway: The creation of a bridleway will be subject to further consultation and engagement. In light of issues raised through submissions, consideration will be given to a multi-use pathway. This process will provide opportunities for design, route location and timing to be finalised in consultation with those directly affected, before any decision is made to proceed.
