Painted Environment

A Council-initiated graffiti prevention and city beautification project launched in 2015. This project is a platform for residents, community groups, local business and young people to connect with their community and contribute toward an enhanced environment.

Every year Upper Hutt City Council runs Positive Ageing Week to celebrate our older residents and support them to develop great skills to age well. This is a week of fun activities and workshops catered to our local 50+ year old residents.
