Ward Street—waste water pipe renewal (October 2016–late 2018)

Wellington Water is renewing the aging wastewater system in Ward Street, Upper Hutt from 31 October 2016 to late 2018.

The work is important because the existing pipework is getting to the end of its life and the renewal will help to improve the resilience of infrastructure in Upper Hutt and reduce pollution.

Main Street, Wakefield Street and Logan Street—water and wastewater renewals (July 2016–end September 2017)

Wellington Water is renewing the aging water supply and wastewater mains in Main Street, Wakefield Street and Logan Street, between 10 July and 30 September 2017.

The hours of work will generally be 7.30am–5.30pm weekdays.

This work is important because the existing mains are getting to the end of their life and renewal will help improve the resilience and reliability of infrastructure in Upper Hutt.
