General information

  • All meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, Level 2, Civic Administration Building, 838-842 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt with the exception of the Hutt Valley Services Committee Meeting which will be held alternately between Upper Hutt City Council Chambers and Hutt City Council Chambers, 30 Laings Road, Lower Hutt, as noted above.
  • Council has a public forum policy whereby the first thirty minutes of every meeting is set aside for any member of the public to speak on any item which may fall within the terms of reference for the particular meeting being held. Each speaker during the public forum section may speak for up to five minutes.
  • An agenda for each meeting will be available for inspection on the Friday before the meeting. All agendas are available for inspection at the Reception Area located on Level 1 of the Civic Administration Building and at the City Library and the Pinehaven Branch Library. Electronic copies of the agendas can be downloaded from the agendas and minutes section of this website (link in the Resources & Links section).
  • Access to the Chambers between 8.00am and 5.00pm may be obtained via the main Council entrance and taking the lift to Level 2. After 5.00pm please use the rear entrance to access the building and take the lift to Level 2.
